End of January already....WHAAAAAT?!!
I have some HUGE creative goals along with some extra HUGE business goals for 2020 so I’m trying hard not to freak that it’s already so close to Feb.
January, for me, has been the ‘set up’ month. I’ve leased a commercial space in the Rosebud industrial Estate so that I could get my business out of the house again which has been massive. Not only am i having my own work space for making products and storing inventory, I’ve also set up a dedicated art making area (pure heaven) and on top of that I’ve got ten additional studio spaces!!! I wanted to make a place which could be a nurturing nest for creative people and their growing businesses. It’s called ‘Rita & Frank Creative Studios’ and I will do a dedicated blog post on that once we are finished renovating and setting the space up but it’s the thing that has taken up the majority of my time and energy this month.
I’ve also been doing a lot of thinking and soul searching as to which direction to really take my business in for 2020 and beyond. Creative e-courses and e-books is going to be a big part of the plan this year. I’ve set a goal to create six e-courses which will be a mix of creative, art based courses along with turning your creative hobby into a business themed courses. I’m so excited for this new branch of my business to emerge! Keep your eyes peeled in Feb for the first one to go live!
Other things I want to make happen is some limited edition art prints. I feel the call to really go deep with my art creation this year. I want to really nurture my own creative art style and make some truly beautiful original pieces which I can then offer as limited edition prints and maybe even products like my organic wheat bags and eye pillows.
The possibilities are so endless and I cannot wait to get stuck into the creating once we’ve finished.
Now, I’d love for you to have a think about your own year. Do you want to live a more creative life in 2020? How are you going to make it happen?
Let’s get creative together!
