How to print for a pro finish at home or locally

You have two great options. Print at home on quality paper, or take the file to Officeworks or a local printer for larger sizes.

At home

• Use a decent weight paper. I like 200–300 gsm for art prints.
• Choose your printer’s “Best” or “High” quality setting.
• Print at 100% scale and fit to the size supplied.
  These basics alone will lift your result. Plenty of printable-art guides recommend heavier paper and the highest quality setting for crisp detail and richer colour.

At a print shop

• Ask for matte or satin art stock for a gallery look.
• If you want bigger than A4, request A3, A2 or A1 from your supplied file set.
• Bring the file on a USB or email a link and ask for a borderless print if you want edge-to-edge colour.
